Position Summary

The Childcare Cook & Bus Driver is responsible for preparing nutritious meals for children while ensuring safe and reliable transportation to and from school and center-related activities. This role is essential in supporting both the health and safety of our scholars.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen & Meal Preparation
· Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks in accordance with CACFP guidelines
· Follow weekly menus and ensure meals meet nutritional standards
· Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times
· Properly store food and monitor inventory levels
· Adhere to all health and safety regulations
· Accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions as required

Transportation (Bus Driver Duties)
· Safely transport children to and from local schools
· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily
· Ensure all children are properly signed in/out and accounted for at all times
· Maintain transportation logs and required documentation
· Follow all childcare transportation safety procedures and state regulations

Position Summary
Ensure effective operation of the school as well as supervision of school staff. Manage delivery of quality early childhood education program. Hire and develop employees capable of educating preschool children. Build enrollment to operate school at capacity. Establish positive and ongoing communication with parents.

Implement curriculum and program philosophy; ensure child safety at all times, facility maintenance, oversee all operational functions of the school, demonstrate knowledge of legal regulations and standards.

Responsible for opening/closing of the school at least 90% of the time.

Planning & Execution:

- Responsible for ensuring our Safety Vision of “No One Gets Hurt”.

- Drives processes to prevent injuries and accidents; follows all procedures related to injuries and accidents if one should occur. Reports child injuries and hazards promptly.

- Ensures reporting of suspected child abuse or neglect to local child protective agency or abuse hotline as mandated by state law.

- Ensure appropriate teacher-child ratios and minimum state teacher qualifications are met.

- Establish an environment of learning by ensuring proper implementation of curriculum to maintain the integrity of the program.

- Clearly understand and articulate brand positioning, company values and unique selling points of curriculum and school’s program offerings.

- Conduct compelling tours with prospective families and convert to enrollment and ensure all school staff are trained to appropriately manage school marketing.

Talent Management:

- Recruit, hire, train, develop and retain superior talent.

- Monitor and manage school staffing levels. Ensure management-level partner development and talent acquisition in order to achieve and maintain school operational requirements.

- Effectively manage employee performance by communicating clear expectations, establishing high standards, delegating appropriately, praising publicly and coaching privately.

Supervision:

Manage and direct school staff including recruitment, selection and development to achieve company goals and objectives. May spend 10% to 15% of the day covering a classroom.

Education / Experience:

- Must be Director qualified in Texas.

- Minimum High School Diploma. CDA preferred.

- Two (4) years in licensed childcare with at least one (2) years as Director in licensed childcare.

Specialized Training and/or Licensing:

- Must meet the qualifications to drive the Company vehicle.
